Blitz is sleeping peacefully while I'm up thinking about his future.
The official medical findings are in:
It was found that he is in the very early stages of MVD and he has a slight (grade I) murmur.
His heart and pulmonary artery are enlarged but this is thought to be due to his heartworms.
I'm not completely sure of what it is but they also noted he has a respiratory sinus arrhythmia.
The MRI showed that he has sever Chiari malformation AND sever Syringomyelia.
The syrinx is very long and at the thickest point taking up over 1/2 of his spinal cord.
His neurologist wanted to take him in to surgery the next day but I turned it down for now.
I need time to process all this information.
